Text Neck: Easing Neck Pain from Phone Use
"Text neck" is the nickname for the strain that builds when we spend hours looking down at phones and screens. It's incredibly common — and the tension it creates in the neck and upper back is very treatable.
What text neck is
When your head tips forward to look down, the muscles at the back of the neck have to work much harder to hold it up. Do that for hours a day and those muscles stay overworked, leading to stiffness, aching, and sometimes tension headaches.
How to ease it
- Massage therapy to release the overworked neck and upper-back muscles
- Raising your screen toward eye level so you look down less
- Regular breaks to move and reset your posture
- Gentle stretches for the neck and chest through the day
Relief plus prevention
Massage eases the tension that's already there, while better screen habits stop it rebuilding. Together they make a real difference.
Give your neck a break
If your phone is leaving your neck sore, targeted massage helps. We tailor each session to where you hold tension.
